Times Media launches its new parenting hub
.

Times Media has announced the launch of a new Parenting Hub from The Times and The Sunday Times. This new destination on The Times website and in the live app will be the home of advice and hands-on experience, pulling together the best parenting journalism from across Times Media, including news, advice, and personal stories, added the publisher. It also aims to inspire readers on everything from the finest school holiday activities to how best to manage the family finances.

The Times and The Sunday Times say they have long been the go-to place for educational guidance, from Parent Power, which ranks Britain’s best schools, to its annual university league tables. The new Parenting Hub will cover every stage, from fertility to university, the publisher continued.

Times Media says it reaches nearly 4 million digital readers who are parents with children in the household. With this audience spending a significant sum each year on raising their children - their household income is 24% higher than any other news brand’s audience – the publisher says it is able to reach this audience to support, advise, share & recommend.

Bringing an array of relevant content into a new one-stop destination, the Parenting Hub will be full of content from some of the most popular Times writers, including columnists and authors Caitlin Moran and Matt Rudd, and clinical psychologist Professor Tanya Byron. The publisher says parents can also sign up to a new weekly newsletter, as well as watch journalist and parenting expert Lorraine Candy's new Parenting Pod video series, covering topics including anxiety and how to talk about sex with teenagers. Parents can also tune in to a new parenting segment on the Times Radio Breakfast Show each Saturday, signposting the most useful Parenting Hub content.

Caitlin Moran, award-winning author and Times Media journalist and columnist, said: “Are you second-guessing yourself on parenting issues? Are you finding it hard to find advice in a sea of conflicting opinions? For advice you can trust, there's the new Parenting Hub from The Times and The Sunday Times, covering hands-on advice at every stage, from starting school, which is traumatic, to the uni years. I will be helping you out too, with my very honest take on family life.”

Ben Taylor, editor, The Sunday Times, added: “Parenting is both the hardest and the most important job any adult will ever do. And yet so much of it so often feels like stressful and much-judged guesswork, from those foundational early years to navigating the minefield of social media. Fear not, though. The Times & The Sunday Times has assembled an array of our best journalists, finest columnists and world-class experts to guide you on your journey, all collected together in our new Parenting Hub.”

Caroline Tredget, commercial director, Times Media, said: “We pride ourselves on our ability to provide hands-on experience and expert advice from knowledgeable journalists, academics and healthcare professionals that supports our parent readers. Our data shows that Times parenting content drives high levels of engagement across our digital platforms, so for brands, this is an exciting opportunity to reach our growing parenting audiences in brand-safe, contextually relevant environments.”
