The embarrassing parenting 'fails' every mum and dad can identify with

Raising miniature versions of yourself doesn't come without its challenges.

A bump here, a slip there - we've all been there, and thankfully the kids are still here to help tell the tales.

I'm a firm believer that it doesn't matter how prepared you are, whether you breast feed or bottle feed, wean early or wean later, we've all dropped our phones on our kids' faces while trying to take a cute selfie.

We all try our best but sometimes accidents happen, especially when you're sleep-deprived.

My first-born James, who is now three and a half, nearly didn't make it to his first Christmas when I dropped a pillar candle on his head when he was eight months old.

Thankfully, I managed to knock it far enough away so that it only clipped the top of his head, but he still wasn't very impressed.
